Tavern on the Green Negotiations May Go Bust

Well, this is hardly surprising: It seems Dean Poll is having trouble coming to an agreement about pensions and wages with the union that represents the employees of Tavern on the Green, and according to a Wall Street Journal source, there’s a “good chance” negotiations will soon break down. “It’s either going to happen over the next few days or I think everyone is going to go separate ways.” Drew Nieporent gives the Journal his two cents, citing Poll’s $25 million commitment: “I don’t know who else is willing to pay that. If this current group can’t make a fair deal, I don’t see who can.”
