A little over a year after Gavin Portsmouth came aboard at Pranna (which opened under former Sapa chef Chai Trivedi in fall of 2008), the Southeast Asian restaurant has announced its third executive chef, Keith Kornfeld. Previously at the helm of spas and hotels in his native New Orleans, as well as Hawaii, Thailand, Maldives and Fiji, Kornfeld was most recently a guest chef at the Michelin-starred Nahm in London. We’ll show you his new menu (focusing on Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, and Cambodian cuisines) when it’s available shortly.
