In an ice-cream-flavor retirement unprecedented in scale, Baskin-Robbins is discontinuing a whopping five of its classic flavors, reports Slashfood. Caramel Praline Cheesecake, Campfire S’mores, Apple Pie à la Mode, Superfudge Truffle, and — gasp — French Vanilla are all being knocked out of circulation to make room for new flavors, a promotion timed to coincide with the ice-cream chain’s 65th anniversary. Put down your protest signs: The deaths are a done deal, and final tubs of each flavor have already shipped to stores.
