There’s no stopping Ravi DeRossi of Death & Co. and others: A little over a year after opening Mayahuel and a couple of months after launching Cienfuegos, he’s now planning to open Gin Palace (concentrating on, yes, gin as well as “hundreds” of tea sandwiches) in New York and Los Angeles simultaneously. He’s looking outside of the East Village this time: “I don’t think the community board will give me another liquor license,” he tells Fork in the Road.
