So Cool: An Ice-Cream-Pop Cart and a Slush Truck

Photo: Thrillist

If you’re sick of the usual Italian-ice cart, there are a few new mobile frozen-food options on the scene this week. Midtown Lunch is already a big fan of the Lily Lolly ice-cream cart run by the daughter of cookbook author Claudia Roden, who helped out with the pistachio-and-rose ice-cream pop. It’s sort of like Popbar, but on wheels! Meanwhile Thrillist says the Kelvin Slush Truck we wrote about last month is debuting this week— stay tuned to the truck’s Twitter feed to find out when and where. Oh, and Midtown Lunch also notices that Time Warner’s $1 ice-cream truck is back in play.
