Michael Psilakis promised us he’d put his now-empty Gus & Gabriel space to use as a brand-new concept, and so it is: The spot will be “a breezy Mediterranean-style seafood restaurant,” reports Diner’s Journal. Besides a new menu, the still-nameless restaurant will also have a totally new layout. A 30-seat counter will lead back to a formal dining room, a departure from Gus & Gabriel’s more standard floor plan. “I’ve been here for eight years,” Psilakis said of the space, which in previous iterations had also been Onera and Kefi. “But this is the first restaurant where I’ve changed the layout.” [Diner’s Journal/NYT]
