Colicchio & Sons Launches a Doughnut Cart; a $19.02 Prix Fixe at the Algonquin

Chelsea: Colicchio & Sons launches a doughnut stand on the High Line today, directly across from the restaurant at the 15th Street overpass. The stand features cider doughnuts and pumpkin-spice doughnut holes with cream cheese frosting, plus hot cider and Stumptown coffee. The stand will be up through October 13. [Grub Street]
Cobble Hill: Brucie, an Italian specialty market and pasta bar opening at 234 Court Street, opens this week; the mostly takeout spot features a large room that will soon hold tastings. [Brownstoner]
