Back in August we told you that Ronen Seri of Blossom would be opening a self-described “organic wine bar and vegan bistro” on the Upper East Side. V-Note finally opened this week, and while the tapas menu (skewers, hummus made from chickpeas and almond, and mini-grilled cheeses) won’t be in effect till Monday (with lunch starting November 1), the biodynamic, organic, and sustainable wines are a’flowing, and entrees and appetizers such as the vegan “seafood” risotto made with seaweed and lobster mushrooms (see it in our slideshow) are being served. V-Note shares a chef with Blossom; the menu below is served nightly from 5 p.m. till midnight, and delivery is available from noon till 10 p.m.
