Beatrice Doorman Angelo Bianchi’s Clandestine Pizzeria Is Revealed

A while back we were surprised to hear that Beatrice and Jane doorman Angelo Bianchi had “clandestine plans to open a New York City pizzeria.” Last night we heard that it was on Mulberry Street (right around the corner from Kenmare, where he has also tended rope), and he’s already showing it off to friends and family. Turns out, Bianchi is involved in Rubirosa, the pizzeria from a Joe & Pat’s alum that we gave you a first look at a little over a week ago. Which means Rubirosa isn’t just one for the pizza dorks — Charlotte Ronson has already been there! We’ll see if its first week, this week, gives the scenester-studded opening of nearby Pulino’s a run for its money.
