Don’t call it a comeback, but Geoffrey Zakarian has been busy lately. A couple of months ago he opened the Lambs Club, which got a nod from Platt, and today he’s introducing another throwback midtown hotel restaurant, the National, on the ground floor of the Benjamin Hotel. Former Country sous-chef Paul Corsentino will be executive chef here, with Marisa Croce turning out the desserts. Check out their menu and a couple of dishes below. Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. till 1 a.m. daily.
