According to the Carroll Gardens Patch, James Geritano of Gowanus Yacht Club is turning Union Smith Café into Diego, a Mexican restaurant with a menu designed by Ivy Stark of Dos Caminos. (So that’s what those rumors were about!) It’ll open on New Year’s Eve with entrees in the $14 to $22 range, and if our Twitter research is correct, it’s apparently named after Stark’s dog.
