To refresh your memory, this is the patty that Josh Ozersky called “sick making”: “cold, stiff, scarred, seared, inert, grey, tasteless, dry, banal — and then there’s this big hideous piece of unmelted welfare cheese.” But Josh Perlow seemed okay with the fifties decor and beer-battered onion rings and the waffle sundaes when he tried them in East Rutherford.
