A year after opening on the corner of Sixth Avenue and 13th Street, Italian gelato and pizza parlor MaximoPino has closed. Partner David Smith tells us he’ll reopen the gleaming space as Rockography next month. Smith won’t say anything more than that, but a Craigslist ad seeking music lovers describes the concept as “a high energy Restaurant and Bar, featuring Fun Bar food and American Tapas tossed with a helping of rock and roll.” We’ll wait to find out how all of this stacks up to the Hard Rock Café.
