Last month we showed you Spasso’s menu as well as some of the dishes by Convivio and Lupa alum Craig Wallen. He and Bobby Wehane of Choptank opened the casual Italian spot this week. So how’s the former Alfama space looking now that Brooke Maples (designer of Wehane’s other spots L’Artusi and dell’anima) has had her way with it? Take a look at the 65-seat room and its open kitchen in our slideshow, and imagine a sidewalk café come spring. Until brunch is added in the coming months, hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. till 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday till midnight, and Sunday till 10 p.m.
