We already know that Rush Limbaugh isn’t a fan of Michelle Obama’s healthy-eating initiative. And Sarah Palin makes s’mores purely out of spite. But now Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee (continuing to play nicey-nice with the Obamas) have come out in support of the first lady’s Vegivore leanings. “I think it’s a really good goal to encourage kids to eat better,” Christie bravely told Face the Nation over the weekend. Well, good for them! Here’s the thing: We’re actually at a point where “let’s teach kids to eat well” can be considered a moderately polarizing political issue, which, like, really? [NYT]
