The Union Square Hospitality Group has announced that Danny Meyer’s David Rockwell–designed café in the Whitney Museum will be called Untitled when it opens in March, and it’ll be helmed by Chris Bradley, former executive sous-chef of Gramercy Tavern (before coming to Gramercy in 2007, he worked at Café Boulud, Aureole, and Saul). It’ll serve the general public a breakfast of “coffee shop classics” (with Stumptown coffee) as well as lunch, and will be open for dinner on Saturdays and Sundays only, serving “a set menu for the whole table that will change each night based on what’s fresh in the market.” A press release says the restaurant is “inspired by the classic coffee shops that once dotted Madison Avenue all the way up to the Upper East Side.”
