Back in November, we checked in on Doughnut Plant’s much-delayed Chelsea Hotel store and said, “Hopefully we see it by Valentine’s, in time for some rose-petal doughnuts.” Little did we know the store would actually open on Valentine’s Day, or so Diner’s Journal now reports. The new store should be more campy than cramped (there’ll be doughnut-themed furniture and doughnut pillows on the walls), and new flavors include chocolate chip, salty peanuts, and oatmeal.
