Cocktail Stirrings: Tasting Table Top Shelf Tomorrow, Manhattan Cocktail Classic Tickets on Friday

The folks at Tasting Table send early word that tomorrow, theyll announce Tasting Table Top Shelf, a newsletter that will focus on innovative trends behind the bar, exemplary new spirits, exciting bar tools and delicious cocktail recipes from the country's best bartenders. And boozehounds, heres something else to look forward to: On Friday, tickets for the annual Manhattan Cocktail Classic go on sale. The event (the closest thing we have to New Orleanss Tales of the Cocktail) takes place from May 13 through 17 and will feature 30 seminars from cocktail heavyweights like David Wondrich, Dale DeGroff, and Tony Abou-Ganim.
