Melia Marden of the Smile has snagged a cookbook deal almost as quickly as the Meatball Shop guys did. Publishers Marketplace reports that “Executive chef of NoHo restaurant The Smile, Melia Marden’s MANHATTAN MEDITERRANEAN, with 120 recipes for Mediterranean home cooking, with a sense of relaxed bohemian glamour, [has been sold] to Natalie Kaire at Stewart, Tabori & Chang, by Jenni Ferrari-Adler at Brick House(NA).”
