The Post reports that the newest addition to Hell’s Kitchen is a 10,530-square-foot restaurant at Tenth Avenue between 37th and 38th Street that will open in December with a menu by none other than David Waltuck, who’s been more or less off the radar after he closed his fine-dining institution Chanterelle. Before you get too excited, the restaurant will be operated by Ark Restaurants, a group that isn’t exactly known for culinary fireworks (they’re the folks behind Robert, Sequoia, The Grill Room, El Rio Grande, Columbus Bakery, and Bryant Park Grill). Nevertheless, Ark honcho Michael Weinstein promises the design, at least, will be “upscale, modern and very interesting.”
