Tom OByrne, owner of Dempseys and Sláinte, tells us that his new project in the former Kurve space will be called Coopers Craft and Kitchen, after Peter Cooper, the Cooper Union founder who at one point worked as a brewer. As previously mentioned, therell be a focus on craft beer, but the Kitchen part indicates a shift for OByrne: I intend for it to be a restaurant, he tells us. Expect an opening in July.
