Edi & the Wolf isn’t the only new-ish restaurant preparing an alfresco dining area: Grub Street hears that the John Dory Oyster Bar is planning a 26-chair sidewalk seating area that will wrap around the corner from Broadway onto 29th Street. The launch date isn’t firm, but we hear the seats will be open for lunch and dinner, and happy hour, where the house special — $15 for a half-dozen oysters or clams and a glass of bubbly or pint of oyster stout, between 5 and 7 p.m. — will taste even better on a warm day like today.
