Food Network Announces New Season of The Great Food Truck Race; Denver Blogger Spots the Trucks

Today the Food Network sent word, via a press release, that they’ve begun production on the second season of the Tyler Florence–hosted The Great Food Truck Race. (The season premieres on August 14.) What they did not announce: which trucks would be competing. No matter! As Eater notices, Denver Westword’s Cafe Society blog saw the eight competing trucks while they were visiting the Mile High City, and helpfully catalogued them for everyone.

Hodge Podge - Cleveland, Ohio
Korilla BBQ - New York City
Roxy’s Grilled Cheese - Boston
Chow Truck, Salt Lake City, Utah
Devilicious Food Truck - San Diego
The Lime Truck - Irvine, California
Seabirds - Orange County, California
Cafe con Leche - Van Nuys, California

Food Network won’t confirm the list, but it totally explains why we couldn’t find the Korilla truck during lunch yesterday, even though it usually spends its Tuesday parked about two blocks away from Grub Street’s New York office.
