The National Debuts a Theater Menu in Midtown; Fatty Crab Hosts a Memorial Day Party on the Upper East Side

Dumbo/Fulton Ferry: The Brooklyn Craft Central Spring Market will host more than 50 food and craft vendors at the Archway from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. [Dumbo NYC]


East Village: BONDST introduces two summer cocktails. The Cedar Manhattan infuses Buffalo Trace bourbon with in-house charred Japanese cedar, and the Mugicha Float is Japanese barley tea infused with bourbon, topped with root beer and sake ice cream. [Grub Street]

Midtown East: Starting this week, the National offers a $35 prix fixe theater menu from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The three-course menu will change weekly but includes items like chicken noodle soup with soba noodles, asparagus salad with truffle-lemon vinaigrette, and roasted chicken with herb-barley risotto. Upper West Side: Memorial Day is right around the corner, and the crew at Fatty Crab wants to make sure you're celebrating. For $45, indulge in an all-you-can-eat-and-drink meal with hors d'oeuvres like oysters, tea sandwiches, and fried wontons, as well as a buffet of whole smoked pig, charred asparagus, and steamed potatoes. For $40, the restaurant is preparing an all-you-can-eat-and-drink "Pig and Pancakes" party with draught beer provided by Beer Table. The pig and pancakes part will be silver-dollar pancakes served on skewers and filled with either pulled pig, butter, maple syrup, and Maldon sea salt or black-pepper gastrique, herbs, and strawberry.
