Guess those disco brunches havent worked out so well for the Oak Room the Post reports that the Plazas owners have filed a $33.3 million lawsuit against the tired institutions latest operators, Jeffrey and Eli Gindi, for failing to revitalize it as a five-star eatery with a 70-plus Zagat rating, and instead sullying it with burlesque shows, as well as alleged use of illegal drugs, the encouragement of raucous and/or vulgar conduct, loud music, a failed city health inspection and poor restaurant reviews. The real low point, of course, was that $19 Mel Gibson cocktail.
