Albert Trummer was back in court today, this time for criminal charges related to setting Apothke's bar aflame (for the purposes of showmanship). Diner's Journal is reporting that Trummer rejected a plea deal that "would have let him plead guilty to disorderly conduct and avoid jail time." But that would have been way too simple for this story: Instead, Trummer tells the Times that he'll "fight this all the way," which means he'll face charges of reckless endangerment at a trial in September. Trummer, you'll recall, says he believes in the American law system. [Diner's Journal/NYT]
