Bowery Boogie says that the reopening of il Laboratorio del Gelato’s Orchard Street location, which was originally slated to take place a couple weekends ago, will now happen on the 16th. Er, wait, the printed sign on the door now appears to say the 18th. Anyway, you’ll probably want to call before heading down, or just stop into il Lab’s Ludlow shop. Meanwhile, DNA Info says the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, the 7th Street brick-and-mortar spinoff of the truck, is just “weeks away.” Owners Bryan Petroff (N.Y.
