Like the low-key little brother who just wants to drink, chill, and look at pretty girls under the sun, Del Frisco's Grille is opening this weekend in Rockefeller Center, just a few blocks away from its more serious-minded brood, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House. What to expect? It's big and airy, and there's a wood oven at the bar and lots of alfresco seating. Scott Kroener is the executive chef, serving up the kind of fare midtowners just love to see plated next to their buzzing, chrome BlackBerries: great apps, huge chopped salads, tiers of seafood, and hearty hard-day-at-the-office entrées like Prime Beef Short Rib Stroganoff. Cha-ching. It can't hurt that there are over 700 selections on the wine list, along a full cocktail program, making the perils of corporate life almost worth it.
