The rage Anthony Bourdain feels when he drives by an Olive Garden might not be totally without merit: Health officials are saying that anyone who visited a Fayetteville, North Carolina, Olive Garden recently could have been exposed to hepatitis A — and is warning people to get vaccinated. That’s because an employee has recently tested positive for the disease, and, according to a site called ENC Today, “fecal matter of the infected person can be easily transferred from hands to food items, then ingested by restaurant patrons and infecting them.” Yum! More bread sticks, please. [ENC Today, Fayetteville Observer]
