So there's a dodgy little bar in Dumbo on the corner of Jay and Water Streets loosely named 68 Jay. It usually lures bedraggled artists and random drifters, but on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights, it will now host a much more sophisticated set: Wild Rise pizza. Pioneered by local pizza fiends who found an electric oven, custom made to cook to the same high temperatures found in Italy's oldest Neapolitan pizza ovens, it's a pretty authentic pie, sure to make Dumbo's squatters and yuppie scum quite content.
