Nothing Original About ‘the Singapore Takeout,’ But It Should Still Taste Good

Singapore & the city.

After traveling the world one noodle at a time, the Singapore Takeout, “a traveling pop-up kitchen on a global tour,” will land in New York this fall on September 17 and 18. The location remains a “secret location,” only to be found by following them on Facebook. Singaporean chef Malcolm Lee will spearhead the kitchen, flaunting his pork buns and signature “Laksa.” Other chefs involved include Spice Market’s Anthony Ricco, Top Chef’s Ed Cotton, and chef Dominique Ansel of Dominique Ansel Bakery. Not exactly a novel idea, but probably worth a swallow.
