Our weekly New York Diet features can often turn into celebrations of glorious gluttony, filled to the brim with tales of fourteen-course lunches at Le Bernardin (see: Ludo Lefebvre) and jerk-spiced alligator tail (c/o Baron Ambrosia). That’s because we seek out food lovers as potential subjects. But how does the other half eat? Specifically, people who model clothes during Fashion Week and dance in the latest version of Black Swan. Well, in next week’s New York Magazine, the editors get model Samantha Xu and ballet dancer Ashley Bouder to dish on what they eat. It’s not all ice water and celery sticks, but it ain’t exactly grilled marrow bones for breakfast, either. [New York Magazine]
