Mazel tov to som’ and chef!
Most chefs are married to their kitchens. But some get married to sommeliers, too. Such is the case with Alfred Portale, chef of Gotham Bar and Grill, and Sophie Leibowitz, sommelier of Marea, who will marry at Gotham Bar and Grill this Sunday. A sneak peek at their menu (created by Portale, naturally) lists butternut squash soup, ricotta ravioli, black truffle halibut, roast pheasant, and many more happily-ever-after dishes.
