Crain’s is reporting that high-end hand-pulled noodle spot Hung Ry has filed for Chapter 11, citing litigation by former partner Amadeus Broger as the cause. Curiously, in the papers filed by the restaurant, Broger was identified as a chef, says Crain’s, though our own opening write-up clearly had him as “partner.” You’ll recall that Hung Ry got a new toque in Fatty ‘Cue vet Andrew Pressler a few months back; here’s hoping his handiwork can help pull the place out of the soup.
