Mr. Critic Bids Farewell, But Not Without Subtext

We'd do the same thing.
We’d do the same thing.

Today marks the last column of Mr. Critic with Sam Sifton as the man behind the wisdom. He writes, “This is my final column before I take on a new assignment at The New York Times. It has been a great pleasure to serve you.” Aw. Tear. Seems like Sifton used the opportunity to give a few last shout-outs and maybe even some snarls. He mentions a vicious stomachache from DBGB and calls Jung Sik “airport” food, but sends love and kisses to Anita Lo, Il Gattopardo, and Mark Forgione. [NYT]
