Crosby Street Flashes a Smile

Another Smile, with grills.

In a "Styles" story about which Soho streets still have an edge, Matt Kliegman and Carlos Quirarte — owners of the perennially rad the Smile on Bond Street, who are also involved in the Jane and Westway — say that they're opening the Smile to Go, a little place for takeout and “a very serious espresso program.” Even though Kliegman lives on Prince Street, he tends to "avoid SoHo like the plague on weekends — and even nonweekends too." So he built himself another tourist-free, caffeine-full haven; this time, even closer to home. [NYT]
