First Look at Elizabeth’s Neighborhood Table, Bringing Farmhouse-Chic to
If you need further proof that the Upper West Side these days is basically the ‘burbs, we present the brand-new Elizabeth’s Neighborhood Table, an “urban farmhouse” complete with wraparound veranda (there’s a picket fence and a swing, too). Remarkably, the place didn’t blow in during last weekend’s strong winds, but rather it comes from the restaurant family behind Carmine’s and Ollie’s. Chef John Lee is a veteran of Rouge Tomate, and his menu of comfort food uses organic and seasonal ingredients, of course; even the cocktails could be described as “vegetable-forward.” The place appears to be chain-ready, so expect it to land soon in a bedroom community near you; for now, get a look at the menus below, and see the space and some dishes in our slideshow.
