The late M. Wells e-mails to let fans know they can dine on kooky Quebecois food once again this Monday at Long Island City Italian restaurant Manducatti’s Rustica. The occasion is a fund-raiser for the blog liQcity, and a $100 ticket (get those here) buys four hours of food and cocktails (made by the team from nearby Dutch Kills). In other Magasin Wells news, owners Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis are once again offering their holiday tourtières (Quebecois meat pies filled with a mix of pork, beef brisket, venison, guinea hen, mushrooms, potatoes, wine, and beer).
