In the Post, buried beneath the news that the vacant building across from the Standard hotel will become “a six-story office/retail jewel with a dramatic glass-and-steel crown” (just what the meatpacking district needs), is the more interesting news that Cesare Casella will “soon” expand Salumeria Rosi to the Upper East Side: He’ll set up shop on at 903 Madison Avenue, between 72nd and 73rd Streets (right below an Uptown Pilates, apparently). Exciting news! But details are scant: Casella “declined to discuss plans” with the Post. [NYP]
