Speed-Dating, One Tastebud at a Time

Foodies play footsies.

The first “Dating by Dishes,” a matchmaking project that pairs people together based on their food preferences, will happen at DUO Restaurant & Lounge in the Flatiron district, on Wednesday, December 14. How does it work? Singles sign up and reveal what they want to eat off the menu in advance. Based on their palates, Grouper will match the participants on three mini-dates, a separate date for their first, second, and third courses. And then, you know, everybody goes home and makes food babies.
