Every three years, the NPD Group polls Americans about what’s in their kitchens. This time around, they spoke to 3,000 households around the country and found that nine out of ten homes always keep eggs in the kitchen, and six out of ten always have Cheddar cheese and yogurt. Soy sauce, along with “solid pack pumpkin,” had a strong presence as well. Artichokes and turnips, not so much. [Well/NYT]
