Holy Tourtieres: M. Wells Will Pop Up at P.S. 1 This Saturday

Since shuttering, M. Wells has taken to popping up here and there with just a few days’ notice. Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis’s latest fleeting appearance will take place this Saturday at P.S. 1 (presumably as a sort of warm-up to the cafeteria they’ll be staging there in the New Year). The couple will offer their duck cassoulet, tourtieres, and maple and pecan pies (all the pies are available for $30 apiece; preorder by e-mailing write@mwellsdiner.com) as part of the museum’s winter carnival. You can come by just to pick up a pie, or pay the $10 admission for access to music, lectures, more food from Manducati’s Rustica, and cocktails by the blog LIQCity.com. Sounds like a wholesome good time — except for all the cholesterol and booze, of course.
