Daniel Klein from The Perennial Plate has a new video up, wherein he heads out to Madani Halal slaughterhouse in Ozone Park and speaks with its convivial owner, Imran Uddin, about his buying practices, the freshness of product (customers pick live animals, which are then slaughtered to order), the tenets of halal food, and the business in general.
