Not going anywhere.
After all the back-and-forth with Community Board 2 last summer, it now appears Pieces bar will be staying at its current Christopher Street location. Next magazine reports that the iconic gay bar has a new lease in place. “We now have a multi-year lease from the building’s owners,” Pieces owner Eric Einstein tells the magazine. “I wanted to get the word out that we’re open and not going anywhere.” [Next via Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York, Earlier]
