Alison Price Becker hasn't had a New York City restaurant since her charming Alison's on Dominick shuttered nearly a decade ago (she's busied herself with several Alison-monikered beachside eateries in the intervening years). But tomorrow night, Becker returns to the city with Alison Eighteen, a bi-level restaurant with a charcuterie-and-cheese bar up front. The restaurant will be dinner-only to start, but the plan is to add breakfast and lunch soon and to serve coffee and pastries to go. Scope the menu of Frenchy farm-sourced fare, like celery-root-oyster stew, sardines a la plancha, or petite pot au feu below. And see photos of the purple-accented space, and some dishes, in our slideshow.
