Last week, Aussie pie specialists Pie Face debuted in the U.S. via a prominent midtown location, and now a Korean coffee giant has done the same. Caffe Bene opened 700 outlets in Korea in less than four years, but it just landed Stateside, with a 250-seat Times Square shop. The chain specializes in coffee drinks and Belgian waffles, including savory varieties with bacon and Parmesan in the dough. Hours from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily befit the area’s neon night-owls.
