As a slightly less lame, but equally rip-offy alternative for Valentine’s Day, Eataly is offering an ode to San Valentino by lifting the no-reservations policy at their various food stations. For that dreamy night only, customers can reserve a spot at the Verdure, Pesce, or pasta-pizza counters. Cupid, and Lidia Bastianich, will likely be lurking. (And speaking of acceptable V-day moves, here are some edible gifts via Restaurant Girl, which Grub Street wouldn’t exactly leave on the giveaway-table.)
