We haven’t seen Lee Anne Wong in the proper weeds for years now — she’s been behind and in front of the camera, mostly — but in a random turn of events, Wong has unpacked her knives at Vynl in Hell’s Kitchen, where she’s consulting and cooking up a totally new menu, which seems to hover somewhere between bong hits and chopsticks. Highlights include: handmade “wongtons,” kung pao shrimp tacos, and the Elvis’s revenge sandwich with “billionaire’s” bacon, peanut butter, tempura bananas, and honey on brioche. Weird, but sources say, wonderful.
