Chick-fil-A might open a Boston location at Northeastern University. Odd, we know, considering the chain’s reputation for anti-gay stances (not to mention those pesky charges of racism), and Boston’s reputation for being fairly liberal and progressive.

Disgruntled Northeastern students congregated at a student government association meeting a few night ago to express their concerns about the chain’s agenda; Northeastern officials, for their part, say that “organizations really do have the prerogative to support whoever they want … Chick-fil-A has been very outspoken in not absorbing that as their agenda.”

Politics aside, is Chick-fil-A even worth fighting for? Surely there are equally delicious, less controversial restaurants to court, right? What about Taco Bell? They even have breakfast now!
