First Look at Prime Butcher Baker, Where the Meat Is Kosher and the Baked Goods
Prime Hospitality Group offers a range of kosher dining with its Prime Grill, Prime Ko, and Sòlo restaurants, and when Prime Butcher Baker opens Wednesday, they’ll make their kosher and parve offerings available to take home. The Upper East Side shop will specialize in dry-aged meats and parve baked goods; Prime Grill chef David Kolotkin will also offer prepared foods “with both Ashkenazi & Sephardic flavor profiles” to take away, a rep tells us. The matzo-baller part of the operation commences after dark, when it’s possible to reserve the chef’s table for up to twelve people, entitling you to all the wine you want and the right to have the chefs prepare anything in the shop. Of course, you’ll need to bring the shekels for that: $3,000, to be exact. Take a look at some of the food in our slideshow.
